Job Description

About the Role

The Business Support Specialist will play a key role in supporting Tekgration’s daily operations, administrative functions, and customer service efforts. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. This position requires a strong ability to manage processes, communicate effectively, and provide high-level sales, operations, and project coordination support. Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide administrative support, including document management, data entry, and process coordination.

  • Assist in sales operations, including proposal preparation, order processing, and contract management. 

  • Support customer relationship management efforts by responding to inquiries and tracking engagements.

  • Maintain and update business systems, such as Google Workspace, monday.com, and QuickBooks.

  • Help coordinate marketing and social media efforts, including content scheduling and basic graphic design/ 

  • Assist with vendor and partner communications.

  • Perform research and compile reports to support business development efforts. 

  • Support compliance and reporting efforts related to cooperative contracts and federal market expansion initiatives. 


Qualifications and Skills: 

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 2+ years of experience in administrative, sales, or business support roles. 

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and CRM/project management tools. 

  • Experience with QuickBooks, and monday.com is a plus. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills. 

  • Prior experience in government contracting or technology sales is a plus. 

  • Strong problem-solving skills, past remote work experience with proven ability to work independently.
