Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct cybersecurity assessments based on NIST 800-171 and CMMC standards. Utilize industry-leading cybersecurity software tools to perform vulnerability assessments and security audits. Analyze assessment results, identify vulnerabilities, and provide recommendations for remediation. Assist in the development and implementation of cybersecurity policies and procedures. Collaborate with small business owners to ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards. Prepare detailed assessment reports and security plans.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and standards, especially NIST 800-171 and CMMC. Familiarity with industry-leading cybersecurity software tools and their applications. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) are a plus.
